Yes and No! Our class schedule offers both heated and nonheated classes!
For our classes that are heated, our state of the art infrared heating system heats our studio and warms our muscles to help them to stretch more and work more optimally within a greater range of motion. Over time, this will build strength and flexibility and help your body rid itself of toxins, promoting optimal health. Please make sure to drink lots of water before class and/or an electrolyte replacement after. The heat may take some getting used to so don't let it discourage you from your practice! Most of us find the heat to be extremely beneficial as we continue on. (Okay, we LOVE IT!!!).
We understand if heat is not your thing and that's why we offer nonheated classes too! Check out our class descriptions for specific details on each class type!
Absolutely! Our classes have students of all levels and our teachers are well trained in modifications to help you find success in every pose. If you feel that a Power class flows a little fast for you, we recommend a Basics, Deep Stretch or Restore Class.
Probably, let's face it; our bodies change everyday and life is demanding. The key is to become aware of what challenges you, how you react and what you do to modify the results.
Wear comfortable, light clothing that allows the body to move. Baggy shirts and shorts are not recommended. Keep in mind that the room is heated for some of our classes.
For good results, we encourage a minimum practice of 3 times/week, but the best practice complements your schedule. We offer a variety of classes at a variety of times to make that happen for you
Please bring a yoga mat, towel, water and yourself. (It’s that easy!) We also rent and sell mats, towels, and water in the studio.
