Power Yoga

This guided vinyasa practice uses a dynamic sequencing of postures to elevate your workout, and your mind. This class is structured to work for all levels of practice and is conducted in a room heated to 90 degrees through an infrared heating system.

Basics/Power

Heat indicator:

This class focuses on demonstrating posture and sequencing modifications, as well as adaptations to promote alignment. Through this class, beginners will build a strong foundation for their practice, while more seasoned yogis can refresh and reconnect to theirs. This session will ignite your core and challenge your balance, making it a perfect class for all students! This 60 minute class is taught in 80 degrees, heated using our infrared heating system when necessary.

Basics

Structured for beginner students or for those who just want something a little slower, our basics class is designed to link breath with movement while inviting strength and flexibility. We teach this class with everyone in mind, and provide modifications for each movement, allowing seniors, those recovering from injuries, or anyone in need of a slower pace, the chance to build a practice for their needs. This class is taught in an unheated room.

Basics/Restore + Meditation

Heat indicator:

Proven to reduce anxiety and tension, the practice of meditation allows self-reflection and promotes awareness of the body. Divine believes in teaching this tool as a critical element of your yoga practice, and has designed this class to bring together meditation and movement. This class begins with basic yoga poses to awaken the body. Then, using props to gain a comfortable position on your mat, our instructors will guide you through a relaxing meditation in a dimly lit room submersed in soft music. This room will remain unheated during this 60 minute session.

Yin/Deep stretch

Heat indicator:

Yin practices explores long-held passive floor poses to visit parts of the body that need awakening. Through accessing deep musculature and connective tissue, this class will invite flexibility and breath into tired areas of the body for those in need of relief at the end of the day. Yin poses are generally held for 2-5 minutes. This class is taught in an unheated room, dimly lit with the cadence of soft music.

"Our Yin class invites you to slow down and create space for stillness while nourishing joints, ligaments, tendons and fascia. This class will have you on the floor most of the time, using as many props as needed to help you surrender into the breath. A perfect complement to Vinyasa practice or other forms of exercise."

Simply Stretch

Our Simply Stretch class soothes and strengthens the muscles in your back, hips, and hamstrings through stretch. This practice invites greater mobility in these tight spots by gently easing tension and promoting alignment. Taught in an unheated room, dimly lit and with calming music, this 60 minute class offers a neck massage during savasana.

"Simply stretch was created to gain flexibility and comfort in our every day lives by strengthening our backs and gently stretching the muscles in our bodies. The studio is lit by candles and soft music plays to build a calming space for your mind and body."

Power/Restore

Through a guided vinyasa practice for the first half of this class is designed to build heat. Together, we will invite strength into our practice before moving to a series of nurturing, supported movements designed to calm the mind and relax the body. This is an excellent class designed for all students, taught in a heated room of 90 degrees.
