Why take the course?

Become a yoga instructor. All certified Yoga Instructors require formal training to lead their own class. If you enjoy the practice, and want to share in its benefits through education and community–this program is just for you!

Deepen your understanding. Many yoga practitioners further their education purely to enlighten their own yogic journey. Allow us to guide you as you gain confidence in your breath and form both on and off the mat.

Commit to your journey. For some individuals, taking our course creates the space to commit body and spirit to the practice of yoga, serving as an endorsement of your future health and personal well-being.

Program Facets

Methodology

As many yogis know, Yoga as a practice comes in many unique forms. Its methodology combines various physical postures, breathing techniques, and meditation or relaxation to center the mind and body. Our program will provide you the resources to help you better understand these intricacies, and how to confidently demonstrate proper technique to future students.

Philosophy

An effective yoga instructor is able to help students open their minds to a deeper understanding of the self. This yogic philosophy connects us to who we truly are in a modern world filled with fast-paced distraction and instant gratification. Our course will teach you how to enable that patient, inner focus within your class and truly help individuals connect their mind, body, and spirit.

Anatomy

The Teacher Training course will provide fundamental anatomical education to help you fully understand the human body. You will be able to confidently identify muscle groups, joints, and their movements to better understand how to avoid pain, or simply promote a healthy, healing environment for the body.

SEQUENCING & INSTRUCTION

Learn how to effectively build and communicate a logical sequence of movement that challenges the body and feels right. Equipped with the knowledge of methodology, philosophy, and anatomy, you will be able to curate your own sequences built for specific classroom goals and help your students find their flow.

“When I signed up for Teacher Training I wasn't setting out to be a teacher per se, but to increase my understanding of the principles and anatomy behind yoga. It was one of the best decisions I've ever made! I learned so much about how to apply yoga principles to daily life, and it gave me tools I can use to help others both mentally and physically. I truly use what I learned every day, both while on the mat and off.” – JESSICA W.
